Grace graduated from Birmingham Conservatoire in 1998 with a First Class BMus (Hons) degree and went on to gain a Diploma in Professional Studies (now the AdvPgDip) in Recorder Performance. In 2004 she graduated from the Royal Conservatory in The Hague where she had studied recorder with Reine-Marie Verhagen and Historical Performance Practice with Peter van Heyghen; she has also studied with the renowned Anneke Boeke. Grace has performed regularly as a soloist and with Birmingham Baroque and La Sprezzatura. She has a busy concert programme as a member of pOLyPhoNiCA (recorder trio). She is director of the Wirral Recorder Orchestra and tutors on various day and residential courses. She currently teaches class music at The Belvedere Academy in Liverpool.

  • 1999: Malcolm Arnold Recorder Concerto (with Birmingham Festival Choral Society orchestra, St Paul’s Church, Hockley, Birmingham)
  • 1996: Bach Fourth Brandenburg Concerto (with Birmingham University Chamber Orchestra, Barber Institute of Fine Arts, Birmingham)
