Short Courses in Music Technology and Composition
Birmingham Conservatoire is a DigiDesign sponsored school and offers accredited and non-accredited training in ProTools software (levels 101 and 110).
We also run several short courses for musicians looking to gain new skills in other areas of music technology or composition. Click on a course title (below) to find out more. (Information will be added as it becomes available.)

* A discount of 10% on course fees applies to Musicians' Union members, BACS members and recent graduates and current full-time students of Birmingham Conservatoire.
Booking Information
Booking a Place
Places are limited and registration is on a first come, first served basis.
To book a place on any course, download the registration form and return (details on form), together with your deposit and proof of status if you are applying for a reduced rate (see above).
Confirmation of your place will be sent to you on receipt of a deposit (50% of the course fee). The balance of the course fee is payable upon arrival for the course.
The course fee includes tea/coffee and lunch, the relevant study book (where appropriate) and the exam fee.
Cancellations
If you cancel your place at least four weeks before the start of the course, you will be offered a full refund. No refund will be made if cancellation is within four weeks of the start of the course.
Birmingham Conservatoire reserves the right to cancel a course if minimum numbers are not met. Any fees already received will be returned in full or held over to book a place on the next available course.
